We purchased this model because we moved into our house and the one that was there was very old. It is the exact size we needed at a reasonable price. However, the motor is a little louder than we like and we had a power outage for a few seconds and after that the refrigerator kept beeping at us. This went on for about 5 days. I "rebooted" the machine and went through the manual twice but nothing indicated what was wrong. Then I went to dump out the ice and let it refill. I noticed a teeny, tiny red light on the display panel. It said power loss. I pushed on the little light and the beeping stopped. It would have been helpful if the instructions told me that would happen.

My old fridge was freezing everything off and on, and I could never tell when it would do it. I'm glad to have something I can depend on to keep my food fresh. The new one is not as large a capacity as the MaytagPlus I had, but I'll get used to finding places to put everything. I don't like the ice dispenser for my large mouth thermos, as it tends to shoot the cubes all over and they get on the floor, but it's good if I put a bowl under it and catch them that way.

The temperature controls needed to be set higher than recommended; the default was too cold on both the refrigerator and freezer. Also, when using the ice dispenser or water dispenser, it™™s too easy to accidentally press both, resulting in water/ice being dispensed to the floor! There was no useable users manual and I had to contact support to find the toggle switch to turn off the ice maker. Otherwise, it™™s a great fridge for the price.

Arrived on time, wouldn't hook up H2O because of copper tubing. Hooked it up myself,it began running ice and H2O. Barely heard the motor running. Noise when ice dump and when H2O refills, but it's supposed to. Wonderful appliance! I'm very pleased.

I've only had the fridge a week, so it's a bit early to give it a rave review. So far, everything is working as it should be, which is good. I'm eager to see if it can make it 10 years, which is the minimum a refrigerator should last, imho (my last one, not a Frigidaire, lasted only 6). As of now, my one wish is that it had one more shelf (there's space for one, and brackets, but as of now it's just a huge space).

The fridge/freezer works fine so far, but shelf placement options are limited. Also, another drawer would be helpful. Fridge must be unplugged to shut off; there is no switch. Dispensed water is not chilled as opposed to any other fridge I've used.

I recently purchased a side by side refrigerator from Lowe™™s.it is a sleek looking and smartly configured appliance. I love that the water filter is easily reached for changing rather than being on the bottom front. It seems like it should be easily cleaned and I like the filter monitors.
